The project objectives are: to increase knowledge and educational offering in the area of sustainable well-being, and to create opportunities to increase sustainable well-being in different sectors of the society on the European Union level and to raise HEI students', employees and professionals awareness of the barriers and pathways to sustainable well-being in leisure and working life using stimulating learning methods.

Aligned with the European Green Deal, the ProLight project focuses on the design and renovation of buildings within Lighthouse and pocket districts, aiming for nearly zero-energy (nZEB) and positive-energy performance. ProLight is implementing and showcasing six refurbished demonstration districts and the creation of energy communities across six European countries. These pilots apply a smart neighbourhood approach and serve as blueprints for future replication across Europe. The project embraces the principles of the New European Bauhaus by promoting environments that are beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive — creating accessible spaces that encourage interaction across cultures and generations, using innovative and regenerative solutions inspired by natural cycles, and integrating art, creativity, and culture to address human needs beyond the purely functional.

Startups, Micro-businesses & Self-Enterprises face specific challenges in making a green transition and integrating sustainability into their operations. These arise from the uncertainty of greening policies and the strain that greening may place on limited resources. The StartGreen project has been specifically designed to address the educational aspect of the issues that startups and micro-businesses face in making a green transition and integrating sustainability into their daily operations.

The 'FURBUS' project aimed to address the pressing issue of food waste and promote sustainable eating habits in urban communities across Lithuania, Greece, and Italy. The primary objective was to change behaviors by developing food resilience and encouraging sustainable eating practices through the dissemination of best practices and digital (self)education tools. The project sought to educate adults by providing accessible and flexible learning resources, including a digital map of 60 international best practices and an online learning course with 50 micro-learning modules available in multiple languages. Additionally, the project aimed to engage adult education providers and learners in training activities, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to reduce food waste and adopt sustainable consumption habits.

A change in how individuals consume energy is a key step in fighting climate change since it represents a crucial contribution to a more collective and sustainable lifestyle adoption. The emphasis of the EL-Practice project is on raising collective awareness to enable behavioural change and to inspire people in making sustainable decisions on energy consumption. EL-Practice gives special attention to developing interactive and accessible energy literacy knowledge and competencies via mobile-friendly e-course, especially focusing on young adults to foster positive energy-related behavioural changes in order to co-create a sustainable Europe.
